Meagan (26) and Morgan Finn (26) have been local fashion icons, as well as powerful leaders in their community. Morgan, the youngest of the two, inherited a passion for sewing at a young age from her grandmother. Her passion along with her dreams of being a designer led her to The Richard Robinson Fashion Design Academy in Ottawa, from which she graduated in 2018. It wasn’t until her sisters’ own graduation; from Carleton University with a BA honours major in law, that the two saw a life changing opportunity they could not pass up. Both of them being done school set forth their long-cherished dream of having their own clothing company together. Meagan’s innate sense of fashion, keen eye for photography and unconditional support made for the perfect duo.
MEAGAN & MORGAN launched in the summer of 2020. Together they hand pick local fabric, design, sketch and sew exclusive collections. Sewing up to 200 pieces per collection, the twins have managed to hire local seamstresses to help remotely. Furthermore, Meagan and Morgan are the photographers, models, stylists as well as the concept designers. Sporting a notable online influence and same-day sell out collections, they created a space for fashion in Ottawa, inspiring various other artists and collaboration within the local community.
